There’s nothing worse than your phone dying when you need it most. If you’re on the go, a quick way to get more battery life is to lower your screen’s refresh rate. A higher refresh rate looks great, but it really sucks the juice out of your battery. I keep mine at 120Hz for everyday use, but I always switch to 60Hz when I’m traveling so I don’t have to worry about finding an outlet.
If you don’t want to manually change the refresh rate every time you leave the house, you can usually set your phone to automatically switch to a lower refresh rate when the battery level gets low. This way, you won’t have to think about it, and you’ll still get the best possible battery life.
