Motorola's attempt to bring back a classic old phone - Moto Razr - didn't go well. Apart from the Nostalgic feel, the device didn't have much to offer. It came with mid-range specs and had a price tag of a super high-end phone. In India, it is currently priced at Rs 1,24,990 on Flipkart , and there are currently zero customer reviews on the phone there ie Nobody is willing to pay so much money for this classic Razr phone.  Probably due to the lack of sales, Motorola is now offering Buy 1 Get 1 Free offer in the US! The price in the US is $1,499.99, so you can get 1 device for $745. Is it worth it for that price? It is still hard to recommend. There is hardly any good review online for this phone, so in my opinion, it would be better to go for some other device, let's say an Apple iPhone 11 unlocked which is priced lesser than Razr on Amazon US. Motorola has launched it's foldable smartphone Moto Razr in India. It is priced at Rs 1,24,999! Yes,  Rs 1,24,999 - that's higher than iPhone 11 Pro Max. One other recently launched foldable phone - Samsung Galaxy Z Flip - is actually priced less at Rs 1,09,999! Lenovo has just unveiled Moto Razr 2019 edition at a high price of $1500. It's a foldable phone as well as a Flip phone, so naturally that high price is expected. Other foldables from Huawei ( Mate X 5G ) and Samsung ( Notorious Galaxy Fold ) are also very expensive devices.  Both Samsung and Huawei had their foldable phones to ship with high-end, flagship specs while Moto Razr 2019 only has specs of a mid-range smartphone. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor which are now often seen on devices priced Rs 10,000 in India.  So is it worth $1500 ? In my opinion, people who are buying this should be buying this only for that nostalgic flip out mechanism. Motorola has launched Razr 2019 - a foldable Android phone resembling the old classic Moto Razr phones. Other foldable phones announced are Samsung Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X.  Moto Razr 2019 looks and feels different from the rest of the foldable phones we have seen until now.  There is one thing all Foldable phones launched or announced in 2019 have in common - It's expensive. Moto Razr 2019 is priced at $1500.  The internal specs of the phone is of a mid-range Android smartphone priced around $250. There is no Snapdragon 855 flagship processor on board, instead has a mid-range Snapdragon 710. It comes with a small battery as well - just 2510mAh . That's unheard of in an Android smartphone in 2019. Moto Razr is expected to launch in India in 2020 January on Flipkart / Amazon.in. Don't expect it to be cheap.
