Huawei has listed Honor Pad 5 10.1 as 'Coming Soon' on Amazon India. This is not a new launch, as this tablet has been available for some time now. Since we do not have a lot of good Android tablets to choose from, it looks like Huawei is bringing back some old tablets to the market.  Huawei Mediapad T5 WiFi Only Version is another tablet coming soon on Amazon.in If you look at the specs of this device, you would be surprised it ships with much older Android 8 Oreo. The latest Android version is 10, and 11 is just around the corner. It is powered by Kirin 659 Octacore chipset which is an entry-level processor from Huawei which we saw on mobiles like Honor 8X.  It is available in a Glacial Blue color and comes with 32GB  or 64GB of storage. When it was launched a while back, the 32GB variant was priced at ₹18,999. Amazon India has listed Huawei Mediapad T5 WiFi Only Version as Coming Soon. 16GB + WiFi + 4G variant is priced at Rs 12,999 in India. So the WiFi-only model will get a price of around Rs 9,999. As a launch offer, you can get a Free Huawei AM61 headphone worth Rs 3,990 MRP with the purchase ( check here ) This 10-inch Tablet is powered by Kirin 659 octa-core processor which is an entry-level chipset that we have seen in older Huawei devices like Honor 7X. The display is a Full HD one with a 16:10 aspect ratio. There are Dual Speakers on this tablet and comes with Huawei Histen audio tech. There is a dedicated Children's corner with which you can control which app your Kids use and how long they spend time on the tablet. It is equipped with a 5100 mAh battery.  Huawei is shipping this with an old Android operating system . Android 9 Pie is what we consider old in 2020, but the version on Mediapad T5 is older than that. It ships with EMUI 8 based on Android 8 Oreo. Strange!
