Huawei is rolling out a new OTA for Honor 10 variants worldwide with the latest security patches from Google ( April 2020 ). Strangely Honor 10 ( COL-L29 ) is still on older Android 9 Pie, and the EMUI 10 update is long overdue for this old flagship device.  Honor Play is also receiving April 2020 updates on Android Pie. Huawei has officially confirmed Honor Play won't get Android 10 update. Honor 10, on the other hand, will for sure receive an update in the future. When? Nobody knows.  Honor 10 is powered by Kirin 970 Octacore processor and comes with Dual Cameras at the back. It has a 5.84 inch Full HD display with a small notch at the top. It doesn't have a huge battery or IP67 but is a great compact smartphone with good looks. Since it already ships with Google Apps, you don't have to worry about having to flash gapps manually when Android 10 arrives. 

Even though Huawei is banned from using Google Services, they are committed to updating their existing Android smartphones to latest OS version. They have been pushing out Android 10 based EMUI 10 to many eligible devices globally. The latest one to get the EMUI 10 is the popular Honor 10.  How to get EMUI 10 update on your Honor 10?  Like every other Android OEM, updates are rolled out gradually to various units. Lucky ones get the update early. The best way to request Huawei to update your phone to the latest version is to go to the HiCare app and hit on the Update button. If your phone says No update available, be patient. I have an Honor 10 here with me and it is yet to get the EMUI 10 update. So you are not alone. If you can't find the HiCare app in your Huawei or Honor smartphone, check instead for an app called 'Support'.
