At CES 2020, Canon has launched EOS-1D X Mark III DSLR and Nikon has come up with  D780 DSLR Camera . In a time when Camera manufacturers are building and competing in Mirrorless Camera market, it was a bit surprising to see both these Camera giants still producing high end DSLR cameras. Are these Two cameras going to be the last high end DSLRs coming out of Canon and Nikon factories ? In my opinion, that's going to be the case.  When Nikon launched D850 a while back, a lot of reviewers were quick to predict it as the Last, Best DSLR camera we would ever see. Nikon has already starting selling Mirrorless Full Frame Cameras now - Nikon Z7 and Z6 . They even launched an APS-C Mirrorless body - Z50 with the same Z-mount lens mount. Canon on the other hand launched EOS R - Canon’s First Full-Frame Mirrorless Interchangeable Lens Camera. They also launched a lite version of this, named EOS RP with the same mount. Nikon has officially launched D780 DSLR Camera at CES 2020. This is a mid-range, high end DSLR replacing older and popular D750.   Nikon D780 features a 24.5MP CMOS sensor and is powered by EXPEED 6 image processing engine. It can shoot up to 7fps continuously and 12fps silently in Live view. Nikon D780 Price in India :   Rs. 2 42 495 (with 24-120mm VR Lens) /  Rs. 1 98 995 (Body only) ( Amazon.in , Flipkart ) D780 uses 51-point AF points in OVF and 273-point phase-detection AF in Live View. Max shutter speed supported is 1/8000s. 4K @ 30fps is the maximum video resolution supported. Full HD 120fps slow mo is available as well. 10-Bit N-Log and HDR (HLG) profiles are onboard as well.  D780 Price in US :  $2299 ( body only ) / $2799 ( Body + 24-120mm F4G ED VR lens ) Older D750 now sells for much lesser price than it's MRP launch price.
