Phones with 120Hz Refresh Rate Displays are Coming Soon

In 2019, we saw a lot of flagship Android smartphones adopting a display with 90Hz refresh rate. These phones offered a great fluid experience thanks to it's higher frame rates. OnePlus had it on their 7T series and a lot of reviewers around the planet were impressed by the display quality. Google Pixel 4 too had a similar display on board. Samsung on the other hand, didn't release any such higher refresh rate in 2019. It was quite surprising to see that as almost all 90Hz AMOLED screens seen on other phones were made by Samsung. In 2020, Samsung is going to skip 90hz and jump straight in to 120Hz screens on their upcoming Galaxy S20 Series of smartphones. This should allow some, very butter smooth UI experience on these upcoming flagship phones. OnePlus 8 Series will also come with a 120Hz display.
