Fujifilm X-T4 vs Sony Alpha A7 Mark 3 | Which one to buy ?

Fujifilm India has launched it's latest flagship camera X-T4 in India today at a price of Rs 1,54,999 - Rs 1,99,999 . Is it a better buy than Sony A7III ( Mark 3 ) which now sells around Rs 1,34,900 - Rs 1,54,990 in India? Let's compare the specs between these two flagship cameras. Sony A7 III vs Fujifilm X-T4 - Specs Comparison A7M3 has a bigger Full frame sensor while X-T4 has a smaller APS-C size sensor. Is it a big deal? A full-frame sensor offers better image quality, depth of field, and low light performance. This doesn't mean XT-4 is a bad camera. It's definitely one of the best in the market in terms of image quality and performance. However, Sony has the edge here. There are a few things X-T4 can do but Sony A7M3 can't.  XT-4 can record 4K @ 60fps with ease. Sony can't do that yet. It's a shame there is currently no Sony Alpha camera in the market that can do 4K @ 60fps!  So which one to buy? Sony or Fujifilm? If you have never bo

Canon EOS R5 - the next Mirrorless Camera King ? Specs and Features

Canon has revealed more specs and features of its upcoming flagship mirrorless camera EOS R5. Some of these specs are insane and are never seen on mirrorless cameras from Nikon, Sony or Panasonic before. Sony, who has been developing A7S3 for a while would sure be a bit worried about this offering, as there are currently no Sony cameras in the market that can do 4K at 60fps while the new Canon EOS R5 boast 8K video capture internally. Specs and Features Brand new 40MP+ sensor ( How much MP needed for 8K ? around 34MP ) Brand new Image sensor 4K @ 120fps ( No other DSLR or Mirrorless Camera offer this ) 8K @ 30fps ( 10-bit 4:2:2 H.265 ) Dual Pixel Auto Focus in 8K mode as well ( btw some of the current Canon Cameras do not offer this in even 4K ) Full Sensor Read Out ( Canon is notorious for 4K Crop - which thankfully is not going to be an issue on the EOS R5 ) 5-axis IBIS ( In Body Image Stabilization System - Currently no other Canon camera offers this ) Canon Log S

What to expect from Sony Alpha in 2020

While Nikon and Canon were launching new DSLR cameras, Sony was busy concentrating all their resources on developing their Mirrorless Camera System. Sony clearly understood Mirrorless is the future and put out cameras after cameras under SonyAlpha branding. Thanks to this early vision, they got a head start in the mirrorless camera market. The Sony A6000 Mirrorless Camera with an APS-C crop sensor ( even though ship with the worst Kit lens on any camera ) became an instant hit. It was replacing two cameras - Nex 6 and Nex7. I myself bought one in 2015 and was amazed by how lightweight and easy to carry around this camera is. Sony released many more in the A6000 series after that - A6300, A6500, A6600, A6400, and A6100. All were received quite well, except the A6300 which had some severe heating issues during long 4K recording. In the Full Frame Mirrorless Market, Sony was the only manufacturer launching new cameras. Only recently Nikon, Canon and Panasonic stepped into this segmen

Canon EOS-1D X Mark III and Nikon D780 - End of an Era ?

At CES 2020, Canon has launched EOS-1D X Mark III DSLR and Nikon has come up with  D780 DSLR Camera . In a time when Camera manufacturers are building and competing in Mirrorless Camera market, it was a bit surprising to see both these Camera giants still producing high end DSLR cameras. Are these Two cameras going to be the last high end DSLRs coming out of Canon and Nikon factories ? In my opinion, that's going to be the case.  When Nikon launched D850 a while back, a lot of reviewers were quick to predict it as the Last, Best DSLR camera we would ever see. Nikon has already starting selling Mirrorless Full Frame Cameras now - Nikon Z7 and Z6 . They even launched an APS-C Mirrorless body - Z50 with the same Z-mount lens mount. Canon on the other hand launched EOS R - Canon’s First Full-Frame Mirrorless Interchangeable Lens Camera. They also launched a lite version of this, named EOS RP with the same mount. Canon also has EOS M Series which are APS-C size mirrorless

Why many think Sony A6600 is a bad upgrade

Sony recently launched A6600 and A6100 mirrorless cameras . Sony Alpha A6600 is their current flagship APS-C camera while the A6100 is aimed at first time mirrorless camera owners. A lot of Sony fans were quite unimpressed by the specs of the A6600. Many professionals who often use A6000 series of camera were also disappointed by the specs as they were expecting something else. No 4K @ 60fps - a lot of new flagship APS-C and Full Frame cameras launching in 2019 are now giving an option to record 60fps 4K. It's very surprising to see Sony, who used to offer 4K when a lot of others were stuck on 1080P, choosing not to bring 4K @ 60fps to A6600.  Same old sensor - A6600 comes with the same sensor as the old A6500. This sensor on board is not exceptional and have rolling shutter issues as well. You expect Sony - the leading camera sensor manufacturer in the world - to bring out something new in their flagship camera. Disappointing. These two factors are the reason why many pro
