Xiaomi has officially launched Redmi 8 Series in India online on Flipkart. It is priced at Rs 7,999 ( 4GB ram 64GB ) and will go on sale on Oct 12 midnight during Flipkart's Big Diwali Sale 2019 . Redmi 8 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 Octacore processor and Adreno 505 GPU. It comes with 4GB of ram and 64GB storage which is great for a budget phone priced at Rs 7,999. It is equipped with a massive 5000mAh battery. The display is a 6.22 inch HD+ display protected with Gorilla Glass 5. It ships with Android 9 Pie and will get an update to Android 10 in future.  In the camera department, the latest budget king from Xiaomi features a Dual Camera setup. There is a 12MP AI main camera (  Sony IMX363 Sensor ) with an F1.8 aperture lens along with a 2MP depth sensor to help with bokeh / portrait shots.
