Qualcomm has today announced three new Snapdragon chipsets/processors for the Mobile platform. They are Snapdragon 720G, 662, and 460. All of these feature Octa core processors and do not come with 5G support. All these chipsets come with support for India’s NavIC satellite system. Many of the upcoming budget and mid-range Android smartphones from various OEMS will feature these new Qualcomm Chipsets. Out of the three, Snapdragon 460 is the cheapest one and is replacing older Snapdragon 450. Many budget smartphones with around Rs 6,000 price tag in India will ship with this processor on board in 2020. Snapdragon 720G is a 8nm mid-range processor and comes with Adreno 618 on board. It has Snapdragon X15 LTE offering 800Mbps download and 300Mbps upload speeds. Snapdragon 662 is a 11nm mid-range processor and has Adreno 610 onboard.
