Motorola has launched a few new Android smartphones in India. A couple of months ago, they had launched the innovative, but very expensive Moto Razr in India at a price of Rs 1,24,990 . Last week, they launched their current flagship smartphone Motorola Edge+ at a price of Rs 74,990 . Now they have launched a budget option as well - Motorola G8 Power Lite   at a price of Rs 8,999. First Sale on 29th May at 12 Noon on Flipkart ( check here for more info ) G8 Power Lite is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor and comes with a big 5000mAh battery. It comes with 4GB of ram and 64GB of storage.  There are 3 cameras at the back of the Moto G8 Power Lite. The main sensor is a 16MP F2.0 aperture lens with PDAF. The other two lenses are 2MP sensors - one used to take Macro...

MRP price is Rs 89,999. It will ship to customers on May 26th, 2020. Moto Edge+ Price in India: Rs 74,999 ( pre-order link ). In the US, the price is $999.  Limited Time Launch Offer: Flat ₹7500 off on ICICI Bank Credit Cards  Motorola hasn't been making flagship smartphone for a few years now. They have been concentrating on building budget and mid-range smartphones for a while now. So Edge+ is the company's comeback flagship smartphone and naturally, it features high-end specs. Like every other flagship launching in 2020, the Motorola Edge Plus is powered by Snapdragon 865 octa-core chipset and comes with 5G network support. The display is a 6.7 inch Full HD+ OLED screen offering a 90Hz refresh rate. Motorola chose not to go Quad HD resolution and 120hz ref...

Motorola's attempt to bring back a classic old phone - Moto Razr - didn't go well. Apart from the Nostalgic feel, the device didn't have much to offer. It came with mid-range specs and had a price tag of a super high-end phone. In India, it is currently priced at Rs 1,24,990 on Flipkart , and there are currently zero customer reviews on the phone there ie Nobody is willing to pay so much money for this classic Razr phone.  Probably due to the lack of sales, Motorola is now offering Buy 1 Get 1 Free offer in the US! The price in the US is $1,499.99, so you can get 1 device for $745. Is it worth it for that price? It is still hard to recommend. There is hardly any good review online for this phone, so in my opinion, it would be better to go for some other device, let's say an Apple iPhone 11 unlocked which is priced lesser than Razr on Amazon US. In India, there is no chance to see a Buy 1 Get 1 Moto Razr offer as it is still on Pre-order. There is a 100% chance ho...

The company is now back again with a true flagship phone - Motorola Edge Plus. There is no 120hz support available like OnePlus 8 Pro or Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra. It features an Endless Edge display. Check out Full Specs and Features below. Snapdragon 865 5G support 6.7 inch FHD+ AMOLED screen 5000mAh battery  18W Turbo Power Fast Charging Support 15W Wireless Charging Dual Stereo Speakers Triple Rear Cameras 108MP F1.8 aperture Main Sensor with OIS ( similar to Xiaomi Mi 10 , Galaxy S20...

Lenovo has just unveiled Moto Razr 2019 edition at a high price of $1500. It's a foldable phone as well as a Flip phone, so naturally that high price is expected. Other foldables from Huawei ( Mate X 5G ) and Samsung ( Notorious Galaxy Fold ) are also very expensive devices.  Both Samsung and Huawei had their foldable phones to ship with high-end, flagship specs while Moto Razr 2019 only has specs of a mid-range smartphone. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor which are now often seen on devices priced Rs 10,000 in India.  So is it worth $1500 ? In my opinion, people who are buying this should be buying this only for that nostalgic flip out mechanism. You can't deny that there is a very satisfying feeling of answering a call by flipping out the screen or cancelling / hanging up on someone by forcefully closing the 'lid'. It reminds me of Patrick Jane from the hit TV show 'Mentalist'.  The foldable mechanism, according to expert...

Other foldable phones announced are Samsung Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X.  Moto Razr 2019 looks and feels different from the rest of the foldable phones we have seen until now.  There is one thing all Foldable phones launched or announced in 2019 have in common - It's expensive. Moto Razr 2019 is priced at $1500.  The internal specs of the phone is of a mid-range Android smartphone priced around $250. There is no Snapdragon 855 flagship processor on board, instead has a mid-range Snapdragon 710. It comes with a small battery as well - just 2510mAh . That's unheard of in an Android smartphone in 2019. Moto Razr is expected to launch in India in 2020 January on Flipkart / Amazon.in. Don't expect it to be cheap.
