When Andy Rubin founded the company Essential, a lot of tech enthusiasts and Android fanboys were really excited and expected big things from them. After all, this is a company made by the guy who created Android. However, they only released just one phone - the Essential PH-1 and in a blog post today announced they are shutting down the company for the good - " We have made the difficult decision to cease operations and shutdown Essential ".
