Panasonic FZ1000 ( DC-FZ1000 ) Bridge-Style camera has been out for a while now. It was launched way back in 2014. Now Panasonic has brought 2nd Gen variant of this camera - FZ1000 ( DC-FZ1000M2 ) to the market with some improvements here and there.

The 2nd gen model retains the excellent Leica branded 25-400mm equivalent F2.8-F4 lens as the older model. Panasonic didn't change the 1-inch sensor inside either. There is also a more expensive model in this series - FZ2500 - which has a slightly longer lens ( 25-480mm / F2.8 - 4.5 aperture ).

Pricing and Availability

US Prices: Both FZ1000 and FZ1000 II are still sold online on Amazon US. FZ1000 now sells for $497.99 while FZ1000 II has a price tag of $797.99


India Prices: FZ1000 currently sells for Rs 45,717 on Amazon.in, FZ1000M2 at Rs 61,726 and FZ2500GA for Rs 58,490.
