Huawei has just launched Honor 9X Pro in India at a price of Rs 14,999 - Rs 17,999. Regular Honor 9X is still available in India and has a price tag of Rs 13,999 for the base model. They look the same and have similar specs as well. Check out the specs differences between these two devices below.
Honor 9X vs Honor 9X Pro ( India ) Specs Comparison
The regular model is powered by Huawei's own Kirin 710F octa-core processor and comes with a 6.59 inch Full View, Full HD+ display. The Pro model has the same exact display and build quality, however, the chipset on this is different. Honor 9X Pro is powered by a newer 7nm Kirin 810 octa-core processor which is a much better processor than the older 14nm Kirin 710F.
The Pro model has a liquid cooling tech inside to keep the temperatures in check when gaming for long hours. The regular model doesn't have any such features.
One major advantage Honor 9X has over the Pro model is that it ships with Google Apps. It was certified before Huawei Ban by the US govt, so it is eligible to continue having apps like Google Services, Play Store, Gmail, etc. Honor 9X Pro ships with App Gallery and Huawei Mobile Services instead.
App Gallery is getting better and better with many new apps arriving at the store. However, it's not currently anywhere close to the Play Store. Some apps like Google Maps, Uber, etc need Google Services to function properly, so they don't work on these newer Huawei devices.
Another phone launched with Kirin 710F chipset in India is Huawei Y9s.
