Redmi Note 8 Pro now on Open Sale on Amazon India

Xiaomi has been selling their popular, best selling, mid-range Android smartphone Redmi Note 8 Pro via Flash Sales on Amazon.in. From this week onwards, Redmi Note 8 Pro and Note 8 are on Open Sale - you no longer have to wait to buy these incredible value for money Android devices. 

 Redmi Note 8 Series is currently the Best Selling Android Smartphone on Amazon.in since Nov 2019.

 Redmi Note 8, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 octa core processor is priced at Rs 9,999 while Note 8 Pro, powered by Helio G90T gaming processor has a starting price tag of Rs 14,999.

 For a limited time, you can get Rs 1000 Discount with ICICI bank cards when you purchase Note 8 Pro from Amazon.in. With Note 8, the discount is Rs 750. This offer is available till Jan 10 2020.


Regular Note 8 has a 48MP main sensor at the back while Pro variant has a 64MP sensor. One other phone in this price range that offers 64MP camera is Realme XT / Realme X2.

 The Pro model comes with 6GB of ram and 64GB of storage. It is also available in 6GB / 128GB and 8GB / 128GB configurations. Regular Note 8 is available in 4GB / 64GB and 6GB / 128GB configurations. As expected, Pro variant has a bigger 4500mAh on board, while Note 8 has a smaller 4000mAh.

[ FIX ] Ubuntu 20.04 Bluetooth doesn't Turn On

I have been using a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard for a while now with my Ubuntu 20.04. Everything worked well without any issues until one day the operating system refused to turn on the Bluetooth. I could toggle Bluetooth On button from the Settings, but it did nothing.  After spending some time Google Searching why my Bluetooth started not working all of a sudden, and after trying a variety of commands to troubleshoot the problem, I finally found a working fix for this issue. Open a Terminal ( Ctrl + Alt + T )  and enter below commands one after another.  sudo rmmod btusb sudo modprobe btusb That's it. Your Bluetooth issue would be now solved.  I can guarantee you this problem is going to pop-up every now and then. So copy the above commands to a text file for future uses. Sometimes, even after entering above commands the bluetooth would refuse to turn on. In such cases, just Suspend the system and then wake up it again and check.
