You read that heading right. 108MP Camera on Smartphone. Xiaomi has started teasing the launch of Mi Note 10 series with a Penta Camera system - yes 5 Cameras. The main attraction is of course the 108MP monster sensor which should result in some mammoth file sizes. Unlike the popular 48MP which is made by Sony, 108MP on Note 10 is made by Samsung.
Like the 48MP sensor cameras, this too will shoot pixel binned photos resulting in 27MP files by default. This way, file size of the image would be smaller comparing to the full 108MP shot. It also results in better detail.
Redmi Note series normally ship with mid-range specs often powered by Qualcomm's 600 and 700 series of sensors. However, recently launched Note 8 Pro Series came with a flagship Mediatek processor instead. Xiaomi is calling this Mi Note 10 instead of Redmi Note 10, which means, this is probably going to ship with a flagship processor like Snapdragon 855 Plus instead of a mid-range processor.
Stay tuned for full specs and features of Mi Note 10.
