According to SonyAlphaRumours , the next gen Sony Alpha A7S model will come with some impressive specs. Some of these specs are completely new to Sony Alpha line of cameras.
Unlike A7 and A7R variants, A7S model is aimed at videographers and is known for it's high res video recording capabilities even in low light, high ISO scenarios. Older A7S first and second gen variants only had 12MP sensors. That's going to change with the upcoming A7S III model.
According to reports, Sony A7S3 will feature a completely new Sensor with higher resolution pixels, probably more than the regular 12MP sensor we have seen on older A7S cameras. It will also feature 4K @ 120fps support which is currently not available on any mirrorless / dslr cameras made by either Sony or by it's competitors Nikon, Canon and Panasonic.
To keep the camera cool during long recording times, Sony is also equipping this upcoming model with a cooling vent. 6K @ 24fps support is expected as well, mainly because competitor Panasonic's new Full Frame mirrorless camera can record 6K, but misses out on 4K @ 120fps.
Apart from the A7S III, Sony will also launch A9 Mark 2 in coming months with some high end specs suitable for high speed Sports photography.
