When will you be able to Purchase from Flipkart and Amazon again ?

As you know already, our Prime Minister has extended the lockdown for another two weeks. Even after this period, if we continue to have new cases, Govt will be forced to extend this shut down further. This means people have to still continue respecting social distancing rules. This would make impossible for companies like Flipkart and Amazon.in to function properly. Currently, both Amazon India and Flipkart are delivering Pre-paid orders of Daily Essential products in selected Cities ( only some Pin-codes are available ). This is not going to change any soon. If everything goes well in the next two weeks, we can expect these online shopping websites back in stock in the 2nd week of May 2020. No official wording yet.  All these measures are taken by the Govt to protect its citizens from this pandemic. So it's the duty of every citizen to be patient and wait until this horrible circumstances are over. Stay Safe. Stay Home.

Amazon India resume Deliveries in 28 cities [ April 6 2020 ]

Amazon India ( Amazon.in ) has announced on their website they have resumed Deliveries in 28 cities. However, only essential products are delivered, which is to be expected during this lockdown phase.  Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneshwar, Chennai, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Guntur, Gurugram, Hooghly, Howrah, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Mohali, Mumbai, Mysuru, Nagpur, New Delhi, Noida, Panjim, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Vijayawada, and Visakhapatnam are the cities Amazon has started delivering again. Since we haven't still fully recovered from this ongoing issue, it would probably take weeks or even months to get Online Shopping Websites to get back to normal functioning.  In other news, due to an increase in GST, Mobile companies have increased the prices of Smartphones in India. New prices are now live.  Upcoming Smartphones Launches: OnePlus 8 Pro Series , Xiaomi Mi 10 .

April 1 2020 | Mobile Prices Hiked in India by Apple, Xiaomi, Realme

Indian Govt last month announced an increase in GST on mobiles. It increased from 12% to 18%. Due to this increase in taxes, almost all OEMs are forced to increase the prices of their smartphones in India.  Manu Kumar Jain, Global VP of Xiaomi has posted on Twitter informing their fans about the price hike. In his post, he says " After much deliberation & in keeping with #Xiaomi policy of maintaining <5% margin on our hardware products, we will be increasing prices of our products. ". This increase in price went live on April 1, 2020. Both Amazon and Flipkart have updated the phones they sell with new prices. Apple iPhone 11 , which was selling for Rs. 64,900 in India is now showing a price tag of Rs 68,300. Recently launched Poco X2 , Redmi Note 9, Note 9 Pro , Realme X2 etc all have seen a price hike of around Rs 1000.  Due to nation-wide Lockdown, both Amazon.in and Flipkart have suspended all sale of Mobiles.
